LQ is a measure of female receptivity when a stud male is placed in their environment. The standard lordosis quotient measures the rate at they display lordosis while the amplitudinal LQ is a result of measuring how much their back arches on a scale of 1-3. In OVX females who have no endogenous estrogen, estrogen infusion induces lordosis.
